Looking Into The Light – Poster

Lions always convey strength and clarity. They also bring about a sense of freedom and alignment. Whenever I create a work with a winged animal, it means it has transformed its physical body into something close to ascension. Here we have a lion, the king of beasts, who stands resolute and grounded, with huge wings ready to take off and protect all in his domain.

I created a mixed media work with white pastel (drawn on top of the white paper just where the lion is) and then drew with charcoal pencil to create a metallic background to bring about an illuminated sheen!

When you look at the work, know you are always protected as you are one of the pride.
